Website is at www.RoadRecords.com, we still haven't found the right person. We're getting a lot of engineer applicants but none of them have enough keyboard/theory experience for sequencing and scoring.

Dear Road Records,
I live in So. Cal and I am interested in this ad. I'm looking for a career in the music industry. I am young but not stupid, I'd definatly be one to have and break in. I have been a bassist for 8 years, an avid guitar player, a composer with synths, and my interest in the Recording Arts has grown since day one. I am a mobile dj and has had much experence with pro audio, recording, musical instruments, sound quality, bands, etc. I have a producing ear for music. I have much experience behind the board and I'm definatly a fast learner. I am experienced with Roland synthesizers and much experience on my Korg Triton. I have worked in a studio on pro tools for over a year, although there is much more to learn! Any questions? Let me know!

Hello,
I am a person that developes talent.
I arrange music and read charts,
preferably nashville number system.
I have performed and recorded with a variety of styles from country, r and b, blues
rock, 80's rock, metal, alternative, folk,
light jazz, you get the picture.
I sing first and second tenor and perform on piano/keyboards/keybass, bass guitar,
acoustic guitar, mandolin, fiddle, b3 organ , kazoo.
I am 38 and I have been performing for a living since I was 17.
I have helped design and build studios.
The last studio is SandBox in shreveport louisiana with Darren Osborn as engineer.
I love working with music and people
who love music.
I am currently on:
Everhart "Dance Hall Days"
Hoodoo Papas "Mojo Hat" Mojohat.com
Co-produced with Chris Louviere and the Kleancut Kowboys
"Tales form the old south"
Tanya Richards "Haunting the ruins"
Alan Dyson, Still working on it.

And many others I can’t remember right now.
I also write and produce Jingles.
I love music.
This is what I am.
I hope they all make it.
But if not, At least they are all one-step further.

Also, I have used exhaustively Voyetra Sequencer Plus Gold and Cakewalk Pro Audio 9.
I have mastered on Nuendo, though I have not used it much.
I have used cakewalk sonar, rebirth, and fruity loops.
I have been exposed to basic programming using c++ and visual basic in college.
I am familiar with studio procedures, mic placement, whether or not to use condenser versus a sure 58 for certain vintage sounds. I treat a studio environment as both a performance/attitude issue as well as a research facility.
Yes, I do solder. LOL

I have programmed keyboards with fm and analogue synthesis architectures.
(MOOG, ROLAND SUPERJX10, YAMAHA DX7)
I am familiar with what to look for when creating a new sound.
Analogue tape. Still cool.

Though sequencing offers great editing etc.
A good live music bed seems to consistently offer a better feel and allows the music to breathe.
If it does not groove it does not exist.
So even with sequencing I focus on capturing a live feel.

Some things I would probably have to brush up on as I have been concentrating on
Live performance.
Learning is not an Issue.

If you would like to test my abilities
send something you would like me to do.
A vocal and a click track.
Ill ask SandBox if they would split production cost with you.

Brian Basco
SandBox Studio
141 Robinson lane
Shreveport, Louisiana 71104.

Peace
Brian

Dear Road Records, i know your message is older than two years but what's the chance of me geeting into your studio as an engineer and studio muisician? I won an AMMSA in 2000 for work done with native hip hop group "Warparty", on thier release "the
Reign" (copyright 2000 arbor records and warparty entertainment). Also another demo I engineered on for rock group "5th season", has gotten feedback from Epic records. I'm currently doing studio guitar work, for one of my many producers i work with, Tom Crier, he's set me up with three new talented hip hop acts. I'm seeking a new place to hone more knowledge of recording, i studied three years with recording guru, Phil Anderson, and have yet to make more out of myself, give me a studio, some cash, talent, and respect and i will increase your studio income three fold. i not scared of any genres, or styles, i have total apreciation for all aspects of music.
