37 years violin (22 classical), 26 viola; mandolin, mandola, guitar, bouzouki, cello, erhu. Can sightread almost anything western tonal, good ear can figure stuff out that's not written. BA Ethnomusicology; experienced in world music, celtic, jazz, bluegrass, klezmer, classical, folk but have fascination for progressive indie ambient electronic metal rock jazz funk celtic fusion. Bands like the Afro Celt Sound System, for example. But I'm not tied down to any one genre. I play on a Zeta J45 (that's the 5er) and a Brunkalla BW 5.

I have my own mikes, PA, truck and can travel within reason for rehearsals and gigs.
