14 Years on the Bass! Who needs moi?

Heres whats up.
I've been playing bass for... Guess how long? I currently own a Washburn 6 string bass and an azola electric upright. I currently live in the OC beach cities of Southern California.
I grew up listening to all genres of punk (goth, hardcore, industrail, mainstream, rockabilly, psycobilly). I'm looking for an established band that would like somone that is experienced, funloving, crappy speller, and really doesn't dwell on pointless crap in life.
For some reason, everyone that wants me, plays really lame music.
I'm more into bands like Guttermouth, Primus, Pennywize, Bad religion, NOFX, ALL, TSOL, FYP, Stiff Little Fingers, Pouges, Ethyl Meatplow, etc.....
I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've been to auditions for bands, that play music I don't like, and they keep calling me over and over again, trying to throw dillusions of grandure at me that they are on the right path to getting signed, or they are "serious". I don't care about serious, I really only care about having fun. If you want to see what I mean, go to a Guttermouth show. By the way, I'm pushing 30, so "I aint gettin no younger!"
